For our final project i decided i wanted to use our how to guide paper. My groups how to paper was " How to be financially savvy" I thought this would be the best paper to use since everyone in college needs to be smart with money. I chose to go to two of the most popular bars in clifton Macs, and Holy Grail. I talked to the managers when i go there and asked if i could post them up and both had no problem with it.I decided to hang them in the bathroooms so people can glance over it while going. I took our long paper and narrowed it down to just one page just including the important stuff.
Overall this quarter in class has helped me to become a better writer. the best thing i learned was how to make an annotated bibliography i know that will come in handy in the near future. Thanks again for making the class fun and interesting i always liked coming to class, and that a hard thing to say when it comes to school. Have a good summer and thank you.

Contract Reflection
For this contract assignment I decided to make it for me and my five other roommates. In the contract I made it a little bit over the top and in it makes me look like I am a big A- hole but I thought being a jerk in a contract is the best way to get your point across. I choose five important aspects that come when living together 1. Pay your bills.2 Clean up after yourself.3 Leave other peoples property alone. 4 How should parties be decided on.5 remember were all friends. I made the first three the most serious of the five. In my opinion those are things that should not have to be tolerated by the other roommates and it makes it hard on everyone.
The last two the parties and friendship thing is the things me and my roommates seem to have the most problems with. There is always someone who wants to drink in the house which makes it hard for the other people who need to study. I think an agreement has to come between everyone and parties should be agreed upon by at least half of the people. As for the friends part everyone, I live with has been friends for over 6 years so we all know each other very well. We collectively argue all the time but I have don’t like to see it turn into physical battles. This happens to often at my house, tempers begin to flare and then someone gets hit. I think its stupid and childish.
Overall though I am still debating on weather I should show my roommates this contract I don’t know how they would take it but I know I would not be opposed.

Household Duties/ Rules For Six Roommates.
1. Each Roommate is responsible for paying all household bills such as rent, energy, cable, water, on time without exceptions.
Consequence- If a member of the house is unable to pay their bills please give a 2 week notice to other roommates for help. If problem consists for more than one month we will begin our search for another roommate and you will be asked to move out.
2. Each roommate must leave all personal items that are not their own alone without permission from the other roommate. No taking of any clothing, food, movies, video games, etc. Everyone is entitled to their own property and it should not be messed with
Consequence- If a member of the house breaks this rules the roommates who’s stuff was taken is free to take and keep any of culprits personal belongs for example a movie or a shirt. You will be given three strikes the third one you will be asked to move out and we will look for another roommate.
3. Each roommate must clean up after themselves. If you use a dish clean it when your finished. Clean up all trash in the living room area if you have people over. Each month we will have one house cleaning day where we clean the place top to bottom all roommates must partake in the cleaning
Consequence- If a member of the house is continuously breaking these rules and not cleaning up after themselves the other members of the house are free game to trash your room. If you make the house a pig sty we have the right to make your room a pig sty. You are allowed to miss one cleaning day. If you miss more than one you are stuck with bathroom cleanup for the rest of the year, or until someone else breaks the rule.
4. Parties at the house must be approved by a vote of all the members of the house. If three of the six would like to have people over then they win the vote. I believe this is the best way to decide if people should come over because all though we are in College and want to have fun we still have to study and get good grades.

If your going to be a Debbie downer every time we want to have fun we will start disscluding you form it. Have fun and don’t forget your in college!!!

Recast reflection

Reflection Recast
For this recast I decided to take the girl who’s father was killed and have her write a Eulogy at his mass. I wanted to take a different approach though, instead of having the angry, hateful attitude like she did in the poem. I decided to make it as though she had been given time to think it over and realized that the best way to get over the pain is to forgive. Although I completely understand her hate and anger toward this man, and rightfully so, I think the only true way to become ok with situation is to try and forgive. If you live your whole life hating someone you will never make it anywhere. So I decided to make my eulogy that way. I had the girl start out by talking about the great qualities her dad possessed and then switched it to asking the people in attendance if they too could forgive the murderer. I made the recast a very spiritual one as if the girl had just seen the grace of God and now knew that forgiveness and following Gods will is the most important thing. Overall I had a great time doing this parody and recast the two things although very different, were very entertaining.

My recast of the Man Who Shot My Father, I decided to make a eulogy that would be read at the man’s funeral. I wanted to make it from the daughter’s point of view who also wrote the poem.
Thank you all for gathering hear today. As you know my father was a great man, who life was taken suddenly. I wish we would not come together in anger against the man who did this awful thing to him, but instead to remember all the good times we had with him. At first I felt nothing but disgust and animosity toward the man who did this. Having hate in your heart can consume your life. The only person that can judge us is the lord. And I know the lord will not steer us wrong, as this was in his plans, and although they are unclear for us right now, it will become clear with time and prayer. I ask that we all pray to the lord for forgiveness for the man who killed my father. We will all miss him greatly. So in closing, I ask you to keep in him in your hearts, and to remember him as the man he once was, instead how his life ended. Just remember God has a plan for everybody.

Parody Reflection
The Poem I decided to use and parody was The man who shot my father. I initially wanted to do the Poem Index A but decided to switch because i thought it would be an easier task to write about it. I decided to make my parody The boss who fired me. i kept the poem with a dark style very similar to the original poem, I thought it was easy to stay with that style. Overall i really enjoyed this assignment, it was something i could have fun with and it was not to much work.
